Get Parcels Delivered
This is, of course the primary usage of the PodBank and what it was originally designed for. Get your eCommerce Parcels delivered into the PodBank, so that you never miss a delivery while you are away or busy in your work. In fact, you might be home but resting, or engaged in some activity (Yoga, Watching a movie, Eating) that should not or cannot be interrupted.
Receive Bank Materials
Credit Cards, Check Books, Debit Cards, Pin Mailers – all of these are currently being distributed through PodBanks! ICICI Bank has been the leader in this regard – iBox units are simply rebranded PodBanks. These are situated in the Branch Lobbies (i.e. ATM Lobbies) and so they are available 24×7. Thus you can pick up all these documents 24×7. Almost 30% of all deliveries of such Banking Documents & Materials are picked up at the Branch – either because the customer chose to, or because they were unable to delivered to their address.
Temporary Storage at Entrances
Some secure buildings do not allow items such as laptops, phones or other gadgets to be carried inside. This can be a significant problem if the security does not accept these items or if you are not comfortable leaving them with someone (who may even leave them unattended). A PodBank is the best solution – it’s more secure than handing it to a security guard, because it is protected by a thick, steel envelope and can only be retrieved using a private password.
Leave your Vehicle Keys
If you have shared a vehicle with a family member or a friend, you will recognize the hassle of keeping the keys in a mutually accessible location. Let’s say you are leaving your vehicle for your spouse, and you can’t be present when s/he arrives to pick up the key. It’s simple to park the vehicle near a PodBank and deposit the keys into the PodBank. You can specify your spouse’s mobile phone for pickup, or simply share your pass code later.

If you need or want something from a shop and you can’t reach the shop before it closes, you would naturally be frustrated and upset. One of the first popular uses of a PodBank was for laundry delivery and pickups.
